Designed for outside plant (OSP) cabinets and smaller ISP facilities, the iO mini is the most compact device in the iO Platform family.
It delivers secure remote access, protocol conversion (Modbus RTU/TCP, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, MQTT), and IP address management in a reduced form factor for space-constrained enclosures.
The iO mini connects to UPS, DC power systems, HVAC, generators, and battery management systems, consolidating their data behind a single secure IP endpoint for the NOC. For sites requiring automated control, it pairs with the SMX-mini expansion module to add fan on/off and HVAC lead/lag logic without upgrading to a larger device.

It consolidates remote connectivity to power and cooling assets in a single centralized unit, with LDAP centralized authentication, SNMP trap enrichment, HTTPS passthrough for direct access to smart device web interfaces, and dual 48Vdc input power for redundancy.
The iO Gateway is compatible with over 30 qualified smart devices from ABB, Vertiv, Schneider, Cummins, Caterpillar, Kohler, ASCO, and Delta. For devices outside this list, configuration requires only basic Modbus knowledge, or Multitel’s technical support team can develop a custom configuration.

The iO Supervisor is a remote telemetry unit. It is the most capable device in the iO Platform family. It combines the iO Gateway’s secure communication capabilities with FUSION’s I/O flexibility and scalability in a single remote telemetry and control unit.
The iO mini and iO Gateway focus on protocol conversion and data aggregation from smart devices. The iO Supervisor remote telemetry unit goes further, adding direct sensor acquisition (analog and binary inputs) and automated control outputs: capabilities traditionally reserved for dedicated RTUs.
This makes it suited to large telecom shelters, power utility substations, and critical infrastructure sites that require both monitoring and control from a single device.

All iO products support SNMP v1/v2c/v3, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, MQTT, HTTP, and HTTPS. Communication runs through Ethernet (1Gb and 10/100Mb) and RS-485 serial ports. LDAP authentication and SNMPv3 encryption are standard across the platform.
Yes. All iO products generate standard SNMP traps compatible with any NMS, including IBM Netcool, SolarWinds, Nagios, HP OpenView, and DCIM solutions. Multitel provides MIB files for all iO products.
