Quebec City, Canada (December 1^st, 2008) - One of North America's and Quebec's largest cable operators, Videotron Limited, adopted the FIRM Suite^TM software solution from Multitel Inc., experts in power and power asset management, as its unified power asset management information system. This new implementation will increase efficiency and improve the management of their DC power network in real time, within their cable distribution network infrastructure.

Through centralized and standardized data, Videotron will now have the ability to plan new provisioning and power infrastructure deployments faster and more accurately. Videotron will also benefit from improved surveillance and maintenance of its cable network, which includes more than 600 operations sites throughout the province of Quebec. Implementation of the FIRM Administration, FIRM Energy Manager, FIRM Maintenance and FIRM Planning modules will begin in Q1 2009. Other deployment phases will follow.
