Quebec City, Canada (May 1^st, 2009) - The third-largest U.S. cable TV company, Cox Communications, serving 6.2 million residences and businesses, is adopting Multitel's FIRM Suite^TM software solution as its standard power asset management information system. This new implementation will increase efficiency and improve the management of their DC power network in real time, within their national cable distribution network infrastructure.

Through centralized and standardized data, Cox Communications will now have the ability to plan new provisioning and power infrastructure deployments faster and more accurately. Cox will also benefit from improved surveillance and maintenance of its cable network, which counts 17 business units across the United States, each comprising thousands of sites. Implementation of the FIRM Suite^TM solution will begin in Q1 2010 and roll-out is scheduled for Fall  2010. Other deployment phases will follow as business units integrate the software.
