Upon request, training can be conducted at the customer’s premise or a remote location. If held at the customers site, the customer is responsible for providing an appropriate room and other related services, adapted to the session.
Standard Courses
Multitel has packaged standard courses to ensure successful product usage. Course objectives have been defined and are validated at the end of training. Mirador Training – 1 Day
A pre-packaged training session designed for a maximum of 6 participants. Includes training manual and lab exercises with simulators (Hands-on).
By the end of the MIRADOR training, participants will be able to
- Understand the MIRADOR’s architecture and mechanical/physical specifications.
- Use Mirador’s rich feature set (software features, data processing).
- Successfully navigate through the Mirador user interface.
- Program Mirador’s operating parameters (edit, modify and more).
- Establish local or remote communication with the MIRADOR through Ethernet, dial up, Web gate and/or RS-232.
- Setup statistical and historical file recording.
- Upload & download configuration files (*.CSV) from or to the Mirador through the Xmodem protocol.
- Review the calibration procedures for analog channels.
iS3 Training – 1 Day
A pre-packaged training session designed for a maximum of 6 participants. Includes training manual and lab exercises with simulators (Hands-on)
By the end of the iS3 training, participants will be able to:
- Understand the iS3’s architecture and mechanical/physical specifications.
- Use the iS3’s rich feature set (software features, data processing).
- Successfully navigate through the iS3 Web interface.
- Use the configuration tool (software) to program iS3 operating parameters.
- Upload & download configuration files (*.CSV) from or to the iS3 through the FTP protocol.
- Download Statistical and Historical file through FTP protocol.
- Establish local or remote communication with the iS3 through Ethernet, dial up, and/or RS-232.
- Setup statistical and historical file recording.
- Review the calibration procedure for analog channels.
Generic FIRM Suite User Training – 4 Days
A pre-packaged training session designed for a maximum of 6 participants. The class includes hands-on Web-based training and site simulations for actual user scenario situations.
By the end of the FIRM Suite User training, participants will be able to:
- Login and setup preferences for the FIRM Suite environment
- Navigate through a network of monitoring units
- Use FIRM Energy Manager and related modules to their full potential
- Receive and understand virtual, real-time status from Energy Manager
- Generate full reports using the Report module
- Understand the FIRM Suite architecture, setup license rights and securities
- Manage user functions and group rights
- Manage a network of sites, equipment inventory and equipment templates
- Setup capacity management business rules and related notifications
- Schedule tasks to be performed by the Legacy CommServer
- Setup internal and external notifications (message center and email)
- Understand how to use FIRM Planning through parameterized growth and current outlook charts while manage actual inventory functions and projects
- See and manage site alarms including call back maintenance management with FIRM Surveillance
- Understand file location and database archive mechanisms
